We are a private UK limited company specialising in web hosting, domain registration and other internet services.
How long has Really Great Hosting been in operation?
The company commenced trading in July 2006.
Why was the company formed?
We felt that a more straightforward approach was called for particularly where special offers and promotions are concerned.
What sort of experience do your support staff have?
We ensure that all support staff are Microsoft Certified.
Tell me about your technical support?
All of of our support staff are located in the UK. We don't use call centres. All queries are submitted directly to our experienced team, all of whom are Microsoft Certified Software Engineers.

Do I need Windows or Linux hosting?
We provide Linux hosting which is perfect for the majority of websites. We have chosen Linux because it offers superb performance and industry standard facilities such as MySQL databases.
I run Windows on my PC surely that means I need Windows hosting?
No. Windows hosting is only needed where your website has been written using Microsoft specialist functions such as ASP.NET or FrontPage extensions and needs these to be present on your webserver. If in doubt, check with your web developer or contact us.

Payment
Really Great Hosting uses PayPal to process payments. Do I need to have a PayPal account?
No, you can pay using most credit or debit cards. If you do have a PayPal account then you can use this to make payments if you wish. We also process credit & debit card payments through Google Checkout.
